An access permit is required when a driveway is constructed to connect private property to a public roadway. The work shall be performed by a licensed and insured contractor. More information can be found at: https://www.pueblowestmetro.com/200/Commercial-Residential-Roadway-Access-Pe

An Access Permit will be required if all of the determining criteria has been established. This criteria includes if the structure is a carport, is larger than 200 square feet, has an opening of 8-feet or more, has a width of 10-feet or more, and a length of 16-feet or more.
