On Saturday, Nov. 5, the Pueblo West Metropolitan District will host a ‘Paint N’ Bubbly’ social painting event and food drive at the Pueblo West Recreation Center, located at 230 E. George Drive (map) in Pueblo West.
Two social art events are scheduled. The first takes place at 3 p.m. and is open to all ages, including kids. The second begins at 6:30 p.m. and is intended for people ages 21 and over because wine and beer will be available to enjoy during the social painting event.
Because of space, registration is capped at 25 participants.
This event is part of a new initiative by the Metro District to regularly host community events for our residents to enjoy. The ‘Paint N’ Bubbly social painting event is sponsored in part by Big Bear Wine and Liquor, Sangre de Cristo Dental Care, and Pueblo West Metro Board President Kim Swearingen.
Cost: $28.50 per person. (When registering, be sure to use the sign-up code WEST to receive the discount)

What is ‘social painting’?
Social painting events are led by a skilled local artist, guiding a two-hour art session in a fun, laid back environment. Designed both for seasoned artists or people who have never picked up a paintbrush in their lives, participants are encouraged to relax, have a drink, and create art on canvas to hang in your home.
The session is led by “Paint N’ Bubbly,” Pueblo’s only social art and wine studio.
‘Pueblo West Gives Back’
Participants are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the social art sessions to donate to those in need this upcoming holiday season. Part of the ‘Pueblo West Gives Back’ program, food items will be raised throughout the month to disperse to families before the Thanksgiving holiday.
