Pueblo West Metro staff recently put together a development guide for a prime real estate site off of Highway 50 and McCulloch. The approximate 22.6 acres has remained undeveloped since the inception of the Metro District, but is an ideal location for a mixed use development. With the population growth in the area, and an increasing demand for commercial development, Tyler Purvis, economic development specialist with the Metro District, began to assemble feedback from all relevant Metro departments on the existing infrastructure. The Metro District reviewed capacity and requirements that the development of the site consists of such as; access, drainage, utilities, as well information on the existing size, zoning and opportunities the site holds. The information was compiled and edited as a document to help market the property and provide valuable information for developers who may be interested in the opportunity. Purvis presented the guide to the Board of Directors at the October 11th Board of Directors regular meeting.
The document is available on the Pueblo West website to view.
