In an effort to ensure the well being and safety of our residents, the Pueblo West Fire Department is implementing a temporary program during the COVID-19 Stay at Home Executive Order issued by Gov. Polis. Between now and the time that this executive order is lifted, the fire department will provide a welfare check of residents who may not otherwise have anyone to check on them and meet any special needs they might have during this time of protective orders. A fire department crew member can be sent to check on a person and meet any reasonable need that they might otherwise not be able to do themselves during this executive order time period. Please complete the form and submit the information and a follow up will be conducted by a fire department crew member to better understand the need or future need of the resident. Welfare checks will be completed during the hours of 8am-5pm. Social distancing protocols will be maintained for the health and safety of our residents and firefighters.
