Pueblo West Fire Department
The Pueblo West Fire Department provides fire suppression and emergency medical services to a rapidly growing community.

Since organized in 1976, the fire department has evolved from a small volunteer organization, focused only on firefighting, to one that includes other critical services such as building inspections, fire code enforcement, special rescues, hazardous materials response and public education.

Fire Department Mission Statement:
To provide the highest level of protection of life and property in situations relating to fire, emergency medical services and other hazardous situations that affect the Pueblo West community.
