Annual Events

From trick-or-treating to bratwurst and sauerkraut, the Pueblo West community offers many family-oriented opportunities to become involved and have a good time. The Pueblo West Metropolitan District sponsors many of the annual events in conjunction with the Pueblo West Chamber of Commerce and the Pueblo West Rotary Club, as well as donations from local businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals, creating plenty of fun to choose from.

Whether it's gathering goods for the Community Basket Drive or squirt guns for the wet Fourth of July Parade, check out the annual events. There's something for everyone.

  1. 4th of July Celebration

    Pueblo West celebrates Independence Day with an annual wet parade and other festivities.

  2. Community Food Basket Drive

    The Pueblo West Parks and Recreation Department, partners with the local district schools each year to collect canned and dry foods to make Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for Pueblo West families.

  3. Halloween Bash

    This free event includes good bags for each child, free coupons, candy, lots of carnival games, and a lot of fun.

  4. Holiday In Lights Parade

    The Holiday in Lights Parade also features a bonfire, fireworks and refreshments.

  5. Tom Sawyer Fishing Derby

    The Pueblo West Parks and Recreation and the Pueblo West Rotary Club are the sponsors for the Annual Tom Sawyer Fishing Derby.

  6. Valentine's Day Dance

    Dust off those dancing shoes and join us for a fun event and a good cause.
