In a spirit of excellence, integrity, and dedication, the Finance Department is committed to providing timely, accurate, clear and complete information and support to District departments, residents, and key stakeholders.

The Finance Department is under the direct supervision of the Accounting and Budget Manager. 

The department is responsible for:
  • Coordinating the development of a balanced, fiscally responsible annual budget
  • Financial accounting and reporting
  • Financial Analysis
  • Maintain fixed asset records
  • Develop internal accounting controls and review compliance
  • Monitor cash flow and investments
  • Coordinate debt and financing of District projects
  • Processes weekly accounts payable
  • Processed bi-weekly payroll
  • Excise Tax collection
  • Oversees monthly billing and collection for all water and waste water accounts in the District boundaries
  • Works in conjunction with auditors for the preparation of the comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR)
  • Assist with the annual district-wide audit
